Beth Higgins is an acrylics mixed media/Eco artist that embraces the use of upcycled materials. She transforms everyday items—such as soda cans, plastic bottles, recycled wires, and other found objects—into striking visual elements within her art. These unconventional materials introduce rich texture and dimension, turning each piece into a layered narrative of renewal and environmental awareness. With a commitment to reimagining waste, her work challenges viewers to see beauty and possibility in the discarded, while inviting a deeper conversation about our relationship with the natural world.
Beth has a BA with a dual major in Studio Art and Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. She started her career as a graphic designer and then became a home stager – always something creative. She has been a fulltime artist since 2020 and lives and works in Woodbine, Maryland.
