Karen Jury

Karen Jury takes her inspiration from world around her. Nature sets the tone and background to her art. Karen’s work starts with one of her photos, but her use of wax, heat, texture and pigments, helps to create a unique feeling to each piece. She currently divides her time between Maryland and South Carolina.

Recently Her Photo Encaustic Painting of Willie Nelson and his son Lukas, which was autographed by singers, along with a piece showcasing Steven Tyler, sold at an auction for almost $50,000. All proceeds went to support Maui during these difficult times, and The Boys and Girls Club of Maui.
