Columbia Photographer John Stier is exhibiting photos of "Fantastic Places" in September.
The concept is simple – Fantastic Places. Everywhere you go, you encounter them. Some are fantastic because of the people or cities, towns, parks, etc. Other places are fantastic due to natural beauty. This show is mostly about the latter. Images in this exhibit are from around the United States as well as international locations. You may have been to some – or wish you had. Either way, John hopes you enjoy seeing the images of these travels as much as he enjoys sharing them.
John Stier has had the good fortune to travel extensively within the United States and to visit locales in four different continents. John has also done a lot of serious hiking, backpacking and skiing (downhill and cross country). These activities give him the opportunity to witness settings that many do not get to see. Photography provides a medium for him to share these experiences with others. The intention is to capture some of the sense of being someplace special. Check out his bio and more photos Here.
