In each of the watercolor paintings included in this exhibition, the artist Nishita Jain, reconnects with a special place or moment that has resonated with her. She strives to distill the scene by focusing on light and movement, and she endeavors to create visual poetry on paper through the fluid, and often unpredictable, medium of watercolor .
Nishita is a signature member of Baltimore Watercolor Society and Philadelphia Water Color Society. Her work has been juried into exhibitions organized by leading organizations, including the National Watercolor Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, and the Society of Watercolor Artists.
