The Maryland State Arts Council selected mosaic artist Lisa Scarbath to represent Maryland in Washington, DC on Sunday June 28th at the Great American State Fair. Lisa had samples of her artwork, posters showing her public art projects and demonstrated her tools and cutting methods. Visitors were also encouraged to help create an American flag mosaic by gluing on paper "tiles."
One artist per day is featured at the Maryland Pavilion at the Great American State Fair which is running through July 10th on the National Mall.
