Several Artists’ Gallery members are part of the 2026 Bernice Kish Gallery Summer Invitational Show, a juried exhibition featuring Howard County–based artists working across painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, encaustic, and contemporary abstraction.
The exhibition brings together a wide range of artistic voices, with work that reflects the color, warmth, movement, atmosphere, and energy of summer.
The show is on view at Bernice Kish Gallery at Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia, MD 21044. Exhibition dates are listed as July 1–August 10, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, July 11, 3–5 PM.
For Artists’ Gallery, the exhibition is a welcome opportunity to see familiar artists in a different gallery context. The participating members bring a strong range of media and approaches, from atmospheric watercolor and expressive oils to layered collage, encaustic surfaces, photography, and mixed media work.
