Our Members’ Art in Upcoming Juried Shows

Our member artists continue to make waves in the world of fine art. The artwork created by them is on show in prestigious regional, national and international juried shows.

Amanda Milliner’s painting ‘Sunlit Mums’ will be included in this year’s American Impressionst Society Small Works Show at the Anderson Fine Art Gallery in St. Simons, GA.

The show dates are April 25 – May 28, 2024.

Chris Rapa’s plein air painting “Built to Last” 20 x 24, has been accepted in to the Oil Painters of America 33rd Annual Competition.

The show runs April 5-May 23rd in Wichita, Kansas.

Karen Wallace will be in booth 237, near the front entrance, at the American Craft Council’s Annual Fine Craft Show at the Baltimore Convention Center March 15-17.

She will be showcasing her 3D glass art at the show.

Lisa Scarbath’s “Kate’s Cape” was selected to be a part of MSAC’s show, “Maryland Muse: A Tapestry of Inspiration” at Art in Treasured Spaces in the Goldstein Treasury Building of Maryland, March 1 through June 7, 2024.

‘Kate’s Cape, 19x14x5’ was created in 2022 in a juried call for artists to create work based on an historical artifact. It was modeled on a World War I nurse’s cape owned by the great grand-daughter of one of the founders of Ellicott City.

Nishita Jain’s painting ‘Early Winter Snow‘ has been juried into the
Watercolor Art Society – Houston 47th International Watermedia Exhibition.

The show dates are March 3-31, 2024.

Nishita’s painting ‘Blanketed Brambles‘ has been selected for the Georgia Watercolor Society’s 45th National Juried Exhibition. This will be an in-person exhibition held at the Abernathy Arts Center, Atlanta, GA.

The show opens on Apr 2 and closes on May 17.
