Art Auction

The Howard County's Art Council's 'Celebration of the Arts' is a premier fundraising event and an important showcase for local artists. The 27th annual Celebration of the Arts will be held at the Horowitz Visual & Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 6-10pm.

This year's event will kick off with a 2-hour reception where guests will have the opportunity to bid on artwork from the Art Auction. Check out the artwork being donated by our members to support the arts in Howard County through this initiative.

ART MARYLAND

Art Maryland, a multi-media, statewide biennial exhibition, will be held at the Howard County Center for the Arts from October 11th through November 17th. More than 170 artists submitted up to 3 pieces each in this much anticipated exhibit. The juror for Art Maryland 2024 is Dr. Kevin Tervala, chief curator at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
