Inspired by my sketches from the roof top of the Bath Abbey in England, this painting highlights the long shadows on the pavement. A cyclist rides home, a woman hurries by, and a couple stop to chat. Who are they? Where are they going? My art explores the emotional atmosphere of ordinary moments. With minimal architectural details, I leave a mystery for the viewer to gather a sense of place.
