Hima Jain received the Harry Russell Ballinger Award in the Salmagundi Club’s Pairings: Scores and More member exhibition in New York City.
The award recognized two of her works: a graphite portrait of her father, created more than 30 years ago, and Elsa, a recent graphite drawing on paper.
Founded in 1871, the Salmagundi Club is one of the oldest arts organizations in the United States, with a distinguished history of supporting artists and the visual arts.
